Yield structure of our forestry business
The 40+ year track record of the founding families triggered the creation of CV-Timber and can be summarized as follows:
- Out of one hundred invested monetary units, 90 are invested in the acquisition of agricultural land and 10 in the cultivation of forest and its management.
- Resin is produced from the seventh year until the clearing. The accumulated profit allows to acquire an area of about the same size.
- After 15 to 17 years, the forest is cleared. The profits obtained allow to acquire again an area of the same size.
In about 15 to 17 years, 90 hectares of land thus become about 270 hectares of land. If one understands agricultural land as a hard currency, than this business yields almost a threefold increase in real purchasing power.
